Gresham Guest House
Karen & Chris offer a warm and friendly welcome at this family run bed and breakfast. The property is a Grade ll listed Georgian guest house which was originally built as a merchant’s house and is located on the sea front in Weymouth, Dorset.
Weymouth has been described in Conde Naste as one of the most beautiful small towns in the UK. The Gresham is conveniently situated, just a few minutes’ walk from the railway station and bus stops and provides easy access to shops, bars and restaurants.
The Gresham is a great base to explore the Jurassic coast and the South West coastal footpath as well as options to go sea fishing and sailing. Take part in water sports and bird watching at one of the RSPB reserves in Weymouth or a little further afield at Arne (location for BBC Springwatch).
There are lots of attractions and activities for all the family in and around Weymouth, including its award winning blue flag beach, Sea Life Centre, Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, Nothe Fort, Sandworld, traditional seaside funfairs and amusements and picturesque harbour.
The property welcomes families, couples and single travellers and offers a range of individual rooms. Karen & Chris took over the property in 2015 and are continuing the process of refurbishment to upgrade bathrooms and improve facilities. Most rooms are located upstairs and there is no lift at the property. There is limited off-site parking available.
