In a rural setting in Pickering Woods, the 200-year-old Lowther House is just a 15-minute walk down a tree-lined road into Pickering town centre and 10 minutes' walk from the North York Moors railway station.
Our rooms have a mini fridge and a refreshment tray, which includes filtered water and a selection of teas, coffee and biscuits. We supply you with fresh milk for your beverages and also like to welcome each guest with a slice of our homemade cake! There is also free Wi-Fi, Freesat TV with DVD player and a hairdryer.
Bordered on two sides by Pickering Beck and on the other two sides by a wood and Lowther Butts wild flower reserve, we are well placed for a relaxing holiday getaway in a picturesque setting with many attractions close by to keep you entertained.
You can walk into the North York Moors National Park from our gate and the Yorkshire Wolds are nearby too, making Lowther House the perfect location for exploring this beautiful area. The coast is not far so you can sample the delights of seaside towns like Scarborough, Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay - to name but a few! For those that enjoy history there are many historic sites to visit in this area.
