Park Bottom Bed & Breakfast
Phillip and Jane Sheard welcome you to Park Bottom. Park Bottom is situated in the unspoilt hamlet of Litton in the beautiful scenery of Littondale - 'the secret Dale', in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Litton is a peaceful quiet hamlet where the pace of life is relaxed, people are friendly and the setting could not be prettier. Here you may escape the crowds, lose track of time and enjoy the special charm of the Dales at their very best.
Park Bottom is a great location for a short break or a longer holiday. We welcome walkers, runners and cyclists and do have secure bike storage available and a utility room for drying wet walking gear.
Park Bottom is a house built in traditional style using the stone from the miner’s cottages originally on the site. Park Bottom offers modern standards of comfort and warmth; with central heating from our newly installed biomass boiler and double glazing throughout. There is ample private car parking.
Guest bedrooms are all en-suite and all were fully refurbished in February 2015. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities; drying and ironing facilities are also available. All rooms have splendid views of the surrounding fells, and guests are welcome to sit and relax in the lounge or in the garden. Wifi is available at Park Bottom.
We offer a full cooked breakfast and other homemade alternatives to get you off to a good start. We are happy to provide packed lunches. Evening meals are available in the village at the excellent Queen's Arms, which serves real ale in a traditional bar or further afield in Arncliffe, Kettlewell, Kilnsey and Grassington.
At Park Bottom there are maps, guides and books for your information. We want you to enjoy yourselves and will do all we can to help you. Both of us are keen cyclists, runners and walkers and will be more than happy to share our favourite routes and walks.
