Wilton Court Restaurant with Rooms
Embracing its 16th-century origins, distinctive architecture and marvellous riverside hotel location in Ross on Wye, today the Wilton Court Restaurant with rooms brings added colour to the Elizabethan building thanks to an intriguing collection of decorative curios and objects d`art collected by the owners, Helen and Roger Wynn from their time living and working in the Far East.
Helen and Roger have stamped their combined experience of the hotel world on this enchanting 11-bedroom riverside property.
With its cosy rooms and outstanding food, much of it locally sourced the wynns, with such passion and flair have turned Wilton Court into an award-winning intimate hotel, to which our guests like to return, again and again.
The Wilton Court has a rich heritage. The Wilton Court was a magistrate’s court, with the library being the location of the exciting courtroom battles, whilst the Magistrate retires to his chambers on the first floor. In the cellar below, a passageway leads through to the White Lion across the road, which was the jail back in the day.
